Hey, do you know the 1v1 servers on csgo?

Well I had an idea to make such a server for sof2, but I need a way to group spawns.

What I mean is that you can group 1 or 2 red spawns and 1 or 2 blue spawns with each other so that players will spawn first in one group and and when that group is full they will spawn in the next one. Would be nice if the group you spawn in is random, so when you only have 2 players in a server they won't always spawn in the same room.

I could make separate areas in a map. As example mp_shop: Kitchen, briefcase room, offices etc... where people can 1v1 or 2v2 against each other.

Let me know what you think.

Or just make do prioritize spawns.

Some more suggestions:

Add a cvar where you can choose what gametype file to use.
Add a cvar where you can choose an ent file. This way you can use one map with multiple edits.

I don't know how exactly I missed this topic..

Anyway, regarding the group spawns, I could add this, but it wouldn't make the 0.82 release, and once implemented, it'd be a 3D only feature.

What's the need for the custom gametype file? You can already load an alternate entity by putting the ent in the maps/alt directory.
Kind regards,

That would be nice.

I made a map that depends on a custom gametype file, whenever I use that file I can't load any map that also uses that gametype.

Okay, what exactly did you modify in the gametype file? I wonder, because a CVAR-based fix may be a better approach.
